 The
Slate 1000 features a superb professional control panel. Switcher
operators will feel at home with a classic preview/program architecture,
with 3 to 6 keyers, each of which can have a DVE box. The top half of the
panel is a set of flexible device controls which can instantly control the
built-in stores for clips and graphics, or control robotic cameras. The
integrated multi-view monitor and intuitive panel enable a solo operator
to create great looking television. Run it solo, and still gracefully add
team members when you want them.

A Graceful Path to HDTV
Every Slate 1000/2100 is HDTV-ready.
An optional HD input/output board and DVI-D Input board are available
all Slate switchers to upgrade to HDTV, so that they can use HD
cameras (1080i and 720p) and a computer directly for an HD show.
